This workshop presents effective ways to motivate staff. With limited resources and often limited advancement potential, it can be difficult to keep staff dedicated, engaged and productive. Workshop participants will be introduced to eight key ways to motivate employees to reduce turnover, improve service and stimulate productivity. This workshop is appropriate for volunteer coordinators, and other staff persons involved in hiring or supervising employees.

Management of Volunteer Programs
The Management of Volunteer Programs (MVP) certification is an earned certificate awarded by the Cincinnati Association of Volunteer Administrators in conjunction with the United Way of Greater Cincinnati. MVP certification supports professionals who manage volunteer programs in both non-profit and for-profit agencies and corporations. Instructors provide developmental tools, detailed methods, current concepts, and best practices in the field of volunteer engagement. Through lecture, classroom discussion, group activities, and video presentations, participants will develop their own professional skills.
